Yoga classes of beginners for Stress Reduction

Yoga has been used for centuries in all parts of the world as a way to reduce stress and increase strength.  There are different types of yoga, which use different yoga poses in order to balance yourself and increase the level of calmness and peace within the system.

Why Yoga classes of beginners?

Yoga originated in the Asian countries as a way to gain strength and reduce stress.  It originally traveled in religious groups like the Buddhists and became secular so that people from all walks of life practiced yoga.

Yoga poses range from sedentary poses like the Corpse Pose, which involves lying in a recumbent position to dynamic poses, like the Sun Salutation, which involves multiple poses performed in succession.  What this means is that people of all physical abilities can practice Yoga classes of beginners with relative ease.

What are the Types of Yoga classes of beginners?

There are many different types of Yoga classes of beginners, most of which can provide good poses for yoga for kids.  Some types of yoga are more likely to be used as yoga for beginners and some are advanced forms of yoga.

Hatha yoga was created in the 1400’s.  If focuses on meditation and breathing.  The poses are simple and it makes a good yoga for beginners. Relaxation poses are emphasized.

Vinyasa yoga   is similar to Hatha yoga.  The poses are relatively simple and the Sun Salutation series of poses are emphasized.  Breath matches with movement so that the maximum amount of relaxation is reached.

Participants do yoga poses that improve flexibility and strength so that patients with heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes can have improvements in their diseases.  It is a good yoga for beginners.

Ashtanga yoga is a type of power yoga that is probably not a yoga for beginners.  It involves intense, fast-paced poses involving several lunges and strenuous push ups.

Its biggest benefits are stress relief, improvement of coordination and maximization of loss of weight.  It is best used by people who are already fit and who want their stamina and strength to be maximized.  In spite of its physicality, the goal of Ashtanga yoga is to improve spirituality.

Iyengar yoga focuses on alignment of the body.  The yoga poses are often standing poses that are done for lengthy periods of time.  It helps in injury recovery and increases the strength of the body.  It is a good yoga for beginners.

Bikram yoga is also called “hot yoga”.  The yoga poses are performed at 95-100 degrees. There are generally twenty-six yoga poses with the purpose primarily of stretching muscles and flushing out toxins in the body.

Yoga classes for Kids

Kids can do yoga with relative ease. When yoga for kids is performed, the emphasis is on flexibility, something kids are naturally good at.

They learn breathing techniques such as matching breath with yoga pose, increasing relaxation and helping kids stay relaxed.
